The Lovers

"Eve and Eve with the Tree of Knowledge." The Lovers represent desire, union, and perhaps a choice to make.

I collaged a shadowbox with various paper scraps and painted over it with watercolor and acrylic paints. I embellished the dolls with strings of transluscent seed bead and adhered them to the floor of the box using a two-part epoxy. This piece comes ready to hang on a wall, or could be set on a shelf.
